There are several things you can do to take action:

Write Letters

We think the planning application should be called in by the Secretary of State, and to make this happen we need to write to the Planning Director at the North West Government Office and also our local MP’s to ask them to get it called-in. Please take some time to write to get the application called in. Click here to find out more about what this means and how to write your letter

Write your own letter of objection - It is really important that as many peole as possible object to this planning application. Please take some time to send your objection letter to Trafford Council Planning department Click here to go to our list of reasons to object and download a draft letter

The application reference number is 74393/FULL/2009 and can be accessed here If the link isn't working: go to www.trafford.gov.uk/EnvironmentAndPlanning/Planning/Planning-Applications and search the database. Just type Lancashire County Cricket Club in the Applicant Name field and search.

Breaking News

We have more time to submit objections to the planning application. The date for the application to be considered has not been set but may be 11th March.  If you haven't already written please get busy.  We have added some more examples of letters - see downloads tab - to help you make planning related points.  Its important to personalise your letter with a few points. E.g. where you live and why this issue is important to you. You can email as well as send the letter by post. Both methods carry equal weight. Please send your letter to the case officer - in addition to those listed on the example letters - her name and email adddress is victoria.moran@trafford.gov.uk
