Campaigners let Trafford council know that there are stong feelings about the proposed Mega Tesco outside the full council meeting on the 21st October 2009.

The expected planning application didn't appear this week but the application for the 140,000 sq ft Mega store is now expected the week beginning 26th October.

We have more time to submit objections to the planning application. The date for the application to be considered has not been set but may be 11th March.  If you haven't already written please get busy.  We have added some more examples of letters - see downloads tab - to help you make planning related points.  Its important to personalise your letter with a few points. E.g. where you live and why this issue is important to you. You can email as well as send the letter by post. Both methods carry equal weight. Please send your letter to the case officer - in addition to those listed on the example letters - her name and email adddress is victoria.moran@trafford.gov.uk
